No, you don’t need to. Lavvie Liner is a disposable biodegradable bag that you can throw away with the wastes inside.

Can I use regular waste bags other than Lavvie Liner?
Yes, you can use any bags that fit in the waste drawer; however, we recommend using the bags enclosed with the product to prevent any error when measuring the amount of waste collected in the drawer.
How often do I have to refill the water in the tank?
It depends on the water consumption level of the cat(s). However, the users will be notified when the water needs to be refilled.
